These breathtaking acoustic live renderings of two tracks from "Perfectly Flawed" had to go into my collection by all means. A radio station where "Kingdom Of Silence" hits #3 of the top 200 in the station's lifetime cannot be bad, so I will tune into "Rock Serwis FM" soon. Both tracks were recorded live for a special broadcast celebrating the 5th birthday of Rock Serwis FM radio station. We have chosen those tracks because both of them went on top of the radio’s charts. In 2018 “Kingdom of Silence” was no 3 on the Top 200 list of most popular tracks in the history of Rock Serwis FM.

Formed in 2015 when guitarist Piotr Sym teamed up with drummer Dariusz Piwowarczyk. The duo was joined by vocalist Mateusz Jagiełło and in 2017 the band released their debut EP „Re: verse, Re: treat, Re: unite”. In 2018 bassist Paweł Woliński joined the band and the new line-up produced the LP "Perfectly Flawed". In December 2021 the EP "...Calling from Some Far Forgotten Land" was released. ... more

The melodies of Drifting Sun greatly appeal to me. This album wastes no time casting it’s pleasant spell on me via the cascading keys in The Charade. Throughout the album, drums, guitars, keys, and vocals are smooth, strong, and expressive; a lively blend of bright prog rock. Bombastic and spirited flourishes abound amid dreamy, melodic structures. The use of secondary voices in support of the lead vocalist is well done, giving his sentiments heavier credence. Very dramatic! 8+/10. Alrihkh
